To drive and execute full-cycle recruitment for office-based roles with a strong focus on Digital & Technology and selected corporate / group functions. Based in Malaysia, this role primarily covers Malaysia and Hongkong, with extended responsibility for key hiring across selected Southeast Asia markets. It ensures timely, quality hiring aligned with business needs, while driving process efficiency, stakeholder engagement and employer branding initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for Digital & Technology roles (e.g. engineering, product, data, architecture) and key corporate / group functions (e.g. Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, Strategy) across Hong Kong, Mainland China and selected SEA markets.
- Partner with hiring managers in multiple locations to understand workforce plans and role requirements, and design tailored sourcing and assessment strategies.
- Drive proactive talent pipelining for critical and niche roles regionally, using direct sourcing, networks and market mapping.
- Manage offer proposal, internal approvals and offer extension, ensuring competitiveness, internal equity and cross‑market consistency.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a strategic recruitment partner to business leaders in Group Tech, Digital and corporate / group functions across Hong Kong, China and SEA.
- Provide consultative support on hiring decisions, regional talent market insights, compensation trends and assessment approaches.
- Educate and coach hiring managers on interview best practices, selection tools and candidate experience in a cross‑cultural context.
Process Optimization & Compliance
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with internal policies, governance standards and local employment regulations in each jurisdiction.
- Use ATS and dashboards to monitor hiring metrics (e.g. time‑to‑fill, quality‑of‑hire, funnel conversion) by market and recommend improvements.
- Support system enhancements, automation and standardization of recruitment workflows, especially for Digital & Technology hiring across markets.
Employer Branding & Talent Engagement
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives targeting tech and professional talent in Hong Kong, China and SEA across digital and offline channels (e.g. LinkedIn, tech communities, industry events).
- Build relationships with universities, professional bodies and tech communities across the region to attract early and experienced talent.
- Support referral campaigns and talent engagement activities to strengthen DFI's positioning as an employer of choice.
Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and regional talent pipelines in the ATS.
- Generate regular reports on hiring performance and market intelligence by country to support workforce planning and decision‑making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with solid exposure to Digital & Technology hiring and corporate / group function recruitment; regional experience (Hong Kong, China and/or SEA) preferred.
- Proven track record managing multiple mid–senior level searches and partnering with demanding stakeholders across markets.
- Familiarity with recruitment technologies (ATS, sourcing tools) and data‑driven hiring practices.
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin required; Cantonese is an advantage).
- Willingness to travel within Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia as needed.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
