Assistant Manager / Manager, Third-Party Risk Management & Outsourcing Governance

Job Summary

Drive Allianz Malaysia's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Outsourcing Governance framework across the lifecycle of third-party arrangements. The role is responsible for ensuring third-party relationships, outsourcing arrangements and critical service providers are appropriately assessed, governed and monitored in accordance with Allianz Group requirements, regulatory expectations and operational resilience objectives. The incumbent will work closely with Business Owners, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Protection & Resilience (P&R) and Technology functions to strengthen risk visibility, governance oversight and resilience across Allianz Malaysia's third-party ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Third-Party Risk Management and Outsourcing Governance activities across onboarding, renewals, annual reviews, material changes and exit planning.
• Facilitate cross-functional risk assessments covering operational, regulatory, information security, privacy, legal and resilience considerations.
• Oversee governance of Outsourcing Arrangements, Critical Service Providers and high-risk third-party relationships.
• Review and challenge risk assessments, exit strategies and supporting governance documentation.
• Monitor remediation actions, annual review requirements and ongoing third-party risk obligations.
• Drive concentration risk assessments, dependency mapping and critical service provider oversight.
• Prepare governance reports, risk insights and management updates for relevant stakeholders and committees.
• Partner with Business Owners and support functions to strengthen awareness and ownership of third-party risks.
• Support continuous improvement of TPRM, Outsourcing Governance, monitoring and reporting capabilities.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in Risk Management, Governance, Information Security, Business Continuity or Operational Resilience would be an advantage.
• 4-10 years of experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Governance, Vendor Risk Management, Operational Risk, Operational Resilience, Compliance or Governance functions.
• Experience within insurance, banking, financial services or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of third-party risk, outsourcing governance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and governance-related activities
• Familiar with the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT for tasks simplification
