Assistant Manager Manufacturing

What You'll Do

• Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety performance.
• Drive continuous improvement programs through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Optimize manufacturing processes, line balancing, manpower utilization, and equipment effectiveness to achieve operational excellence.
• Support NPI and product industrialization activities, ensuring smooth transition from development to mass production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing challenges, improve process capability, and reduce defects.
• Lead the implementation of tooling, automation, digitalization, and factory optimization projects.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements while delivering sustainable business results.
• Develop and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need to Succeed

•Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment.

•Experience in the following areas is highly advantageous:

• Metal Fabrication
• Sheet Metal Processing
• Welding Operations
• Assembly Manufacturing
• HVAC Equipment Manufacturing
• Cooling Tower Manufacturing
• Industrial Equipment Manufacturing
• Automation Projects
• Lean Transformation Initiatives

•Experience in high-mix, low-volume and Engineer-to-Order manufacturing environments will be an added advantage
