Job Purpose:
- To support Marketing Manager, BU3 in the overall planning and implementation of effective Township and Product Marketing and Sales Plan and ensuring the timely execution of all New Launches as per Budget Plan for Townships under the Business Unit 3 i.e. Serenia City in Sepang, Hamilton Business Park and Vision Business Park in Nilai.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive Financial Returns for Business Unit 3
- Assist the Marketing Manager to formulate marketing & sales strategies to meet revenue, sales and profit targets set for the Financial Year as per Budget Plan.
- Assist the Marketing Manager to develop and monitor the rollout of marketing program and ensure the timely execution of marketing plans for new launches, not new launch and completed products.
- Monitor the utilization of A&P expenses and advertising effectiveness to ensure it is as per budgeted.
Increase Brand Engagement and Value for Townships in Business Unit 3
- Propose, support, and monitor the execution of brand campaigns for township BU3.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events to increase the brand value and engagement for the townships.
- Ensure that ROI for brand campaigns/events are met.
- Actively monitor and continuously uplift social media presence for the township and products.
Improve Product Marketability
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and proposing ideas to leverage on market opportunities and trends.
- Frequently conduct competitor analysis through ground and desktop research.
- Regularly monitor competitors sales package and marketing campaigns and propose ideas/strategies to stand out from competition.
Agencies and Stakeholder Management
- Attend and provide inputs at Client Consultant Meeting (CCM) to ensure creation of market driven products.
- Prepare and conduct briefing presentation to Advertising/Media/Event Agencies to ensure the effectiveness of A&P initiatives.
- Work closely with Advertising Agency, Media Agency and / or Media Owner, Marketing Suppliers on job briefs up to production.
- Ensure compliance to SDP Brand Guidelines, Ministry of Housing's and Local Authority advertising regulations and all necessary approvals is obtained.
- Monitor activities and product / campaign information update in all offline (e.g. posters / brochures) and online channels e.g. Sime Darby Property website, project micro sites, Online Booking System.
- Ensure smooth working relationship and cross departmental collaboration in achieving shared goals for the Company.
People Engagement
- Establish rapport and good working relationship with local authorities, supply chain partners, customers & other relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise and guide junior team members to achieve the Company's vision and goals together.

- Establishes, implements, monitors, maintains and improves the Divisional/BU/OU ESH Management System.
Marketing & Sales
- To ensure all marketing activities are done on time as per Budget Plan and agreed Marketing Plan & Sales Strategy.
- Continuously strive to optimize marketing expenditure to achieve maximum ROI.
- To assist Sales Team on any marketing efforts suggested or required to push post – launch sales as well as for lead generation.
- Produce quality collaterals ensuring adherence to Corporate Identity and Management's Marketing Plan & Objective.
Education/Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's in Marketing/Business Management or equivalent
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
