The Role
This position will be leading and managing the leasing team to maximise occupancy for the Logistics Real Estate portfolio in Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulating and implementing strategies to maximise rental and occupancy of the properties within the Company's logistics portfolio.
- Securing new tenancies, identifying market segments and prospects, managing lease renewals with existing clients, and liaising with property agents.
- Negotiation of tenancy clauses
- Seek management approval for renewal and new tenancies
- Conducting market research of competitors and market benchmarks of rentals and occupancy cost.
- Managing tenancy related issues, compiling occupancy and rental reports and other related lease management functions including but not limited to budgeting.
- Carrying out substantive business development work to secure new tenancies prospects; identify market segments and provide lease management support.
- Support Manager in preparing annual rental budget, rental forecast as well as monthly management reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Real Estate, Property Management, Estate Management, Business, Marketing.
- At least 6 to 8 years of industrial / warehouse / retail / commercial leasing experiences preferred.
- Sound understanding of the real estate industry with an extensive network of contacts.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and effective interpersonal skills.
