About the Role
DCH Auriga Malaysia is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager, Medical Affairs to establish and grow our Medical Affairs function as we expand our pharmaceutical portfolio from generics into specialty medicines.
This role will serve as the key scientific and medical representative supporting healthcare professionals, principal partners, and internal commercial teams across our healthcare business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop the Medical Affairs function to support portfolio growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Act as the primary medical and scientific contact for principal partners.
- Review promotional and training materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
- Support product launches, tenders, hospital formulary submissions, and market access initiatives.
- Lead medical education programs, scientific meetings, and congress activities.
- Collaborate with regional Medical Affairs teams on training and evidence-generation initiatives.
- Monitor scientific literature, clinical developments, and competitor activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison (MSL), or related pharmaceutical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience engaging KOLs and scientific stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
