Job Description

Position Title: Assistant Manager, Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot & AI platform

Department / Functional Area: Group Technology & Operations / End User Technology.

Reports to: Senior Manager- End User Technology

Job Grade/Level GCB 4

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Geographical Responsibilities: AIA Groupwide (all markets)

Position Objective: This statement should be a general summary of the responsibilities listed in the next section. The role is for engineering, integration, and administration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI technologies, driving innovation through AI agent development, platform enhancements, and proof-of-concept initiatives. The role ensures seamless integration with Microsoft services, maintains compliance and disaster recovery readiness, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholdersincluding the AI Council and IT operationsto deliver secure, scalable, and business-aligned AI solutions.

Indicate average percentage of time each responsibility takes Copilot Engineering & Integration

Serve as the go-to expert for Copilot capabilities across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and other M365 apps

Configure and optimize Copilot settings, permissions, and data access policies.

Configure and optimize Copilot settings, permissions, and data access policies.

Enhancements for M365 Copilot capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with Teams, Azure AI, Power Automate, and Power BI. Collaborate with product teams to optimize Copilot performance and user experience across the enterprise

AI Agent

Design, test and deploy Copilot AI Agents and PoCssolutions tailored to support business use cases. Drive innovation by leveraging on AI to improve productivity.

Platform Administration

Manage and administer Platform components ensuring stability, scalability and secure integration of AI features. Oversee configuration management and access controls for Copilot and related services

Governance & Compliance

Define and enforce governance policies for Copilot usage, including data boundaries, privacy, and ethical AI use.

Monitor usage patterns and audit logs to ensure responsible AI practices.

Collaborate with Information Security and Compliance teams to align with regulatory requirements.

Disaster Recovery & Compliance

Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for AI-enabled services. Ensure compliance with industry standards and support solutions.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with the M365 Product engineers, AI council and BU EUS IT operations to align AI initiatives with business needs. Provide Level 2 / 3 technical support for Copilot related services and manage feature release cycles and incident response.
