Incorporated on 16th August 2022, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd. General (or Official) Distributor of smart vehicles in Malaysia & Thailand.

Our mission and vision are to become the leader in new energy ecosystem automotive solutions. Our business scope encompasses the distribution of New Energy Vehicles, provision of EV charging solutions, electronic parts and mobility solutions, finance and insurance services, retailing of accessories and merchandise, monitoring data services for customers as well as the latest technology in EV design and manufacturing.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns aligned with the company's objectives and brand messaging.

2. Media Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals and industry influencers by pitching stories, managing press inquiries, and securing media coverage.

3. Content Creation

  • Draft and refine press releases, media kits, and other PR materials, ensuring all content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with the company's voice.
  • Develop and craft speeches for management.

4. Event Management

  • Plan and coordinate press events, product launches, and other promotional activities.
  • Oversee event logistics to ensure smooth and successful execution.

5. Market Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and public sentiment.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to enhance PR strategies.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive branding across all channels.

7. Reporting

  • Track and analyze PR campaign performance.
  • Prepare reports on media coverage, campaign effectiveness, and public perception metrics.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on the automotive industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong media relations abilities, and proficiency in digital and social media platforms.
  • Creative thinker, proactive problem-solver, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of automotive industry trends and terminology.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
