Summary
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Manager - Recreation is responsible for assisting the Recreation Manager overseeing the recreation facilities, including the gym, pool, spa, and other wellness areas. This role is required to ensure smooth daily operations, a high level of guest satisfaction, supervise and train recreation staff, ensuring they provide outstanding service, develop and implement engaging wellness, fitness, and leisure programs and monitor safety protocols, maintenance, and cleanliness of all recreational areas.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Hospitality, Recreation Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with international 5-star chain hotel or resort.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of wellness professionals with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of fitness, wellness, and safety regulations.
