Role Summary

This is a hunter role where you are responsible to lead new business acquisition efforts, identifying, pursuing, and closing new customer opportunities to drive revenue growth. This role requires you to be highly driven, result oriented, proactive, resilient, and excels at building pipelines from scratch.

What should you do

New Business Development (Primary Focus)

  • Identify and approach potential clients through cold calls, emails, digital channels, networking, market research and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned sales targets & KPI
  • Conduct sales presentations and value-based selling to prospective customers or markets.

Sales Hunting & Conversion

  • Actively pursue new opportunities and convert leads into paying customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals effectively
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Understand customer needs and position tailored solutions
  • Build long-term relationships with new clients to generate repeat business
  • Maintain strong follow-up discipline and engagement
  • Monitor retailer/client performance and provide support to maximize sales
  • Follow up on leads and provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence

  • Identify emerging market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands
  • Identify new market segments and propose expansion strategies
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies

Reporting & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in sales dashboard/reporting
  • Track sales performance and forecasting
  • Provide regular reports to management on pipeline status and conversion
  • Ensure all sales activities are within the defined and agreed budget.

Any other duties and tasks as assigned and/or as required

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong prospecting, cold outreach, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle independently
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively within the team and across the organization with minimal supervision, working mainly independently to achieve assigned sales target
  • Well-developed presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information internally and externally at all levels
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven mindset
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
