Job Description

Summary

Nateskin is seeking a capable and hands-on Accounts & Finance professional to oversee and execute all financial and accounting functions across the company.

You'll be directly responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, taxation, and payroll.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment, balancing both day-to-day accounting operations and strategic financial oversight.

You'll work closely with the leadership team to ensure strong financial discipline, provide data-driven insights, and support Nateskin's growth with sound financial management.

Salary Range:

RM5,500 RM7,000 (based on experience & qualifications)

Responsibilities

Accounting Operations (Full Set of Accounts)

  • Handle the full accounting cycle: journal entries, accruals, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
  • Prepare, review, and analyse monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage payment processes including vendor bills, staff reimbursements, customer invoicing, and receipts.
  • Maintain accurate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) aging schedules.
  • Administer monthly payroll and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Budgeting, Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Create and monitor annual budgets, ensuring actuals stay within approved variances.
  • Track and manage daily cash flow and liquidity to meet operational requirements.
  • Liaise with banks to manage financing facilities (LCs, credit lines) and maintain strong banking relationships.
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and provide recommendations to improve capital efficiency and financial control.

Taxation, Audit, & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, MFRS/IFRS standards, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare accurate tax computations, filings, and submissions on schedule.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government bodies during audits and inspections.
  • Maintain all required financial documentation and support schedules to meet audit and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certifications are compulsory (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience handling full sets of accounts, preferably in an SME or Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software (experience with Xero is a strong bonus) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Possess knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, MFRS/IFRS standards, and corporate finance best practices.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organised, and able to independently manage the full finance function without team support.
  • Strategic thinker capable of advising leadership, while hands-on enough to execute day-to-day financial operations.
  • Proactive, solutions-driven, and committed to continuous process improvement.
