Prepare monthly management reports within reporting deadlines and oversee the company's general ledger functions.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports in accordance with reporting deadlines.
Maintain general ledger activities, including journal entries, proper account coding, and verification of monthly batch reports prior to final posting.
Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements covering accounting, tax, legal, secretarial, and statutory reporting obligations.
Prepare and submit statutory returns and regulatory reports, including SST-02 / SST-02A and Monthly Manufacturing Survey, to relevant authorities.
Execute month-end and period-end closing activities to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data.
Liaise with auditors and tax agents by preparing schedules and facilitating audit and tax reviews.
Manage ERP system usage to ensure financial reports generated are accurate and compliant with reporting standards.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special assignments as directed by management or superior.
Supervise assigned tasks or junior staff, providing on-the-job guidance and training where applicable.
Identify, report, and drive corrective actions for non-conformances, and carry out other finance-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, professional qualification, or finalist status (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, MICPA), or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficient in Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
Knowledge of the Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
ERP system knowledge and experience is an added advantage.
