Summary:
This role is responsible for maintaining Amplify Health's sourcing governance and operating discipline, including Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes, standards, templates, and S2C tool governance. In addition, the role drives a vendor performance management framework (KPIs, scorecards, and review cadence) to strengthen transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement across priority vendors.
Responsibilities:
1) Sourcing Governance
- Support the SVCM lead in reinforcing company-wide S2C governance, ensuring sourcing and contracting activities follow established policy, standards, and approval requirements across Amplify Health and its branches.
- Act as a key role for S2C tool governance (e.g., SODA), including driving disciplined usage, ensuring data quality, supporting user queries, and enabling sustainable adoption through practical guidance and training.
- Maintain and continuously improve sourcing governance artefacts (policies, standards, guidelines, templates), including version control, periodic refresh, and stakeholder communication of changes.
- Design and deliver structured user enablement (quick reference guides, onboarding materials, and refresher sessions), improving compliance without slowing down delivery.
- Coordinate governance-related reviews and audits (internal or external), including evidence collection, exception tracking, root cause identification, and closure of corrective actions to prevent recurring gaps.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recurring pain points (e.g., rework drivers, incomplete submissions, cycle-time delays) and partner with stakeholders to implement incremental improvements and practical controls.
2) Vendor Performance Management
- Drive and maintain vendor performance management framework, including KPI definitions, data sources, scorecard templates, and consistent reporting cadence aligned to business expectations.
- Lead and facilitate monthly/quarterly reviews for strategic and high-impact vendors, including agenda management, performance pack preparation, action logs, and follow-up tracking.
- Consolidate vendor performance data, validate accuracy and completeness, highlight trends and risks, and produce clear reporting for SVCM lead and key stakeholders.
- Drive disciplined follow-through on recurring vendor issues by coordinating corrective actions (owners, timelines, closure evidence) and enabling structured escalation where required.
- Support consistent internal communications and vendor engagement regarding performance expectations, reporting requirements, and improvement priorities.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 69 years of relevant experience across sourcing/procurement governance, S2C/S2P process management, contract governance, vendor performance reporting, supplier management, or a similar role requiring cross-functional influence.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or administering S2C / procurement systems (S2C tools: such as Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, SAP etc.) including maintaining data integrity, user adoption, and workflow discipline.
- Proven capability in building or operating KPI frameworks / scorecards, including defining metrics, aligning data sources, reporting trends, and facilitating performance reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in environments with strong governance needs (audit readiness, controlled documentation, compliance requirements) and ability to balance control with operational speed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Economics, Data/Analytics, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Competencies & Core Characteristics:
- Governance & Control Discipline: Strong understanding of process controls, documentation standards, audit readiness, and compliance behaviours; able to build adoption through practical guardrails rather than bureaucracy.
- Systems & Data Integrity: High attention to detail; strong data discipline in maintaining accurate records, KPI definitions, and reporting logic; able to spot inconsistencies and correct root causes.
- Analytical & Reporting Capability: Able to translate data into clear insights (trends, risks, performance gaps) and produce crisp reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
- Stakeholder Influence: Confident communicator who can educate, guide, and challenge constructively; able to drive behavioural change in tool usage and governance practices.
- Structured Execution & Follow-Through: Strong ownership mindset; able to run recurring cadences (training, reporting cycles, performance reviews), track actions, and close loops consistently.
- Pragmatism in a Lean Team: Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving organisation - can prioritise what matters most, simplify frameworks, and deliver outcomes without over-engineering.
