Job Description

Responsible to support the overall procurement function by overseeing sourcing execution, facilitating procurement activities across multiple entities, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

The role contributes to cost optimization initiatives, supports strategic sourcing activities, and provides operational leadership in managing procurement processes, ensuring effective delivery, coordination, and governance across the function.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic

  • Support the identification and development of suppliers and sourcing approaches to fulfil organizational business needs and achieve cost-effective outcomes
  • Assist in implementing sourcing strategies and initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness
  • Participate in supplier engagement and negotiation activities to achieve improved commercial terms

2. Departmental

  • Oversee and manage sourcing execution activities across multiple entities to ensure timely delivery, process consistency, and compliance with procurement procedures
  • Lead and manage RFQ/RFP processes for mid-to-high value procurement, including preparation, coordination, evaluation support, and recommendation
  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with established policies, SOPs, and governance requirements at all times
  • Perform first-level review of sourcing documentation and evaluation outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness
  • Coordinate procurement workload across team members to ensure effective distribution of tasks and adherence to timelines
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in execution of procurement activities, ensuring alignment with expected standards and practices
  • Facilitate coordination across Business Units and entities (Altel, MYTV, Net2One, Agytek, ADISB) to ensure procurement requirements are addressed effectively
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

3. General

  • Support the development of a structured and efficient procurement operating environment through effective coordination and communication
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Business Units, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations
  • Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation for internal tracking, management reporting, and audit purposes
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and code of ethics at all times
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned from time to time
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of procurement-related information in the course of duties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in procurement or sourcing functions, with hands-on involvement in end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes
  • Demonstrated experience in independently managing sourcing activities, including vendor engagement, evaluation coordination, and commercial alignment
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent sourcing activities, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver within timelines
  • Prior experience in a Senior Executive or equivalent role with ownership of sourcing outcomes is required
  • Exposure to multi-entity or cross-functional procurement environment is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation support, and vendor management
  • Ability to lead and coordinate RFQ/RFP processes independently, ensuring completeness, structure, and compliance
  • Good understanding of commercial terms and basic contract principles, with the ability to identify key risks and gaps
  • Ability to review and validate sourcing documentation and evaluation outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness
  • Experience in supporting negotiation activities and cost optimization initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across Business Units and vendors, ensuring alignment and timely delivery
  • Good understanding of procurement governance framework, including policies, SOP, and approval requirements
  • Ability to apply governance requirements in sourcing activities, ensuring compliance, documentation completeness, and process integrity
  • Capability to perform first-level review of procurement documentation, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and potential compliance risks prior to escalation
  • Awareness of audit expectations and documentation standards, ensuring sourcing activities are audit-ready
