Job Purpose
Support the processing and administration of Supply Chain Financing transactions while ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence. The jobholder should possess a good understanding of SCF and trade finance products, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and contribute effectively to continuous process improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
1.Assist in overseeing the team responsible for processing Supply Chain Financing (SCF) transactions, including invoice financing and purchase order financing.
2.Ensure the accurate and timely processing of SCF transactions in compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and supervisory guidelines, both locally and globally.
3.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Business, Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit teams, to ensure seamless transaction processing and effective risk mitigation.
4.Monitor and reconcile transaction accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.
5.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SCF and trade finance products, market developments, and relevant regulatory changes to support effective operations.
6.Deliver exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to SCF transactions in a timely and professional manner.
7.Prepare, analyze, and present management reports on transaction volumes, trends, key performance indicators, and operational metrics.
8.Identify and support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, service quality, and control effectiveness.
9.Assist in the training, coaching, and development of team members to foster high performance, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills (including mandated licenses where applicable)
1.Bachelor's degree in economics/ business/ finance or a related discipline from a recognized university.
2.Professional certified certification in supply chain financing [e.g. Certificate in Supply Chain Finance (CSCF)] or trade finance [e.g. Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS), Certificate in International Trade and Finance (CITF)], although not mandatory, would be an advantage.
3.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain financing, or a related area.
4.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry best practices in relation to supply chain financing and trade finance products.
5.Ability to meet deadlines with adequate analytical skills and attention to details & accuracy.
6.Ability to plan, organize and prioritize workload, and work on own initiative.
7.Possess communication and people skills to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels within the bank.
8.High ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
9. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
