Assistant Production Manager

Job Description:

1. Oversees daily manufacturing operations (injection molding, extrusion, assembly and packaging), and staff in meeting safety, quality, and output targets.

2. Lead supervisors, line leaders, technicians, and operators, and manage staffing and training.

3. Plan, schedule and execute production activities and resources to fulfil customer order delivery on time.

4. Schedule routine maintenance of mold (tooling), production equipment, jig and fixtures to minimize downtime.

5.Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, quality, GMP, GDP and regulatory standards.

6. Work closely with project team in development of new products, processes and technology into mass production on time

7. Manage and resolve daily production issues related to processes, materials, machines, equipment and manpower to ensure continuous production operations.

8. Manage operational expenses, and drive continuous improvement to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

9 Support Mold Trial and validation activities

Job Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering discipline - Engineering preferred
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, specifically within plastic injection molding in medical device industry.
• Experience in Injection Molding, Extrusion, Assembly and Packaging
• Bilingual in English and Chinese
• Good communication skills and team player
• QMS Requirements (ISO 9001 or ISO 13485)
