Managing the complete project lifecycle while adhering to company procedures, tools, and standards for efficient project execution.
Develop and maintain an updated project schedule, ensuring execution aligns with contractual requirements Lead and coordinate the project team to meet timeline expectations.
Establish Progress Measurement System & check completion status.
Set up a recovery/mitigation plan when needed. Lead the coordination with internal resources and Client for critical time deviations.
Regularly update project cost forecasts and provide timely status updates to the client.
Oversee procurement activities to ensure contractual compliance, actively participate in inquiries and evaluations, and coordinate with vendors and the client to resolve any deviations.
Manage client change orders, secure approvals as per company procedures, and take direct responsibility for resolving pending activities or disputes until official project closure.
Ensure that all the quality requirement and technical specifications included in the contract are properly met in all he phases of project.
Regularly monitor fabrication status in workshop for own projects and co-ordinate with Workshops and QA team to meet delivery schedules for own Project.
Efficiently acquire and allocate project resources, addressing critical project requirements, while leading internal teams and coordinating with external stakeholders to ensure timely and quality-driven milestone achievement.
Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations throughout project execution, efficiently manage technical and contractual changes, and lead the team in handling claims from clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Required Profile
Mechanical/Chemical Engineering: Bachelor's Degree. PMP Certification or any other project management qualification.
Required Experience 8 to 12 years, minimum in the oil & fats industry project management.
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and possesses basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Project.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong stakeholder communication and adaptability.
Extensive knowledge of project management within the engineering industry.
Well-versed in process plant equipment and their functionality.
Strong resource management, leadership skills, and ability to guide teams effectively.
Proactive approach with a focus on resolving challenges and driving improvement.
Open to international travel, including Malaysia, and eager to take on additional departmental responsibilities.
