Reports To: Director of Security

Job Summary: The Assistant Security Manager is responsible for supporting the daily security operations of the hotel, supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with security procedures, responding to emergencies, managing manpower planning and reporting, conducting security training, and safeguarding guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Security in managing daily security operations and supervising the security team.
• Monitor the movement of hotel assets, materials, and packages to ensure proper security controls.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure compliance with hotel security policies, procedures, and ERT protocols.
• Manage duty rosters, leave planning, and manpower deployment for events and VIP functions.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports, accident reports, E-logs, and security records.
• Conduct security training and promote awareness to safeguard guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficient in oral and written English and Malay.
• Minimum of 3 year of relevant experience in the Hotel or Security Industry.
• Strong sense of responsibility, calm and decisive in handling affairs, with keen ability to identify security risks.
• Willing to work in shift.
• First aider certificate.
• Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
