Manage and handle income taxrelated matters across the APM Group of companies, including tax incentives and ensuring the Group remains updated with the latest tax compliance requirements.
Report directly to the Head of Group Finance and work independently on tax planning, compliance, and advisory matters for the Group.
Oversee assigned entities within Group Finance, including reviewing monthly management accounts, identifying and resolving financial or tax-related issues, and assisting in budget preparation and monitoring.
Liaise and coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit of the assigned entities.
Work closely with tax agents on matters relating to tax computation, corporate income tax, SST, and transfer pricing.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial reporting and tax compliance requirements.
Review and support the improvement and implementation of Group Finance processes and systems, particularly from a tax and compliance perspective.
Support or lead ad-hoc projects, tax initiatives, and assignments as directed by the Head of Group Finance or Management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum 57 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to tax compliance, tax advisory, or audit.
Ability to work independently and manage tax-related matters with minimal supervision.
Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
