We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Trade Marketing Manager to join our team in the fast-paced Consumer Goods industry. This role will be critical to developing and executing trade marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence and drive sales across retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Standardize 5P Elements of In-Store Execution
- Support the development and execution of trade marketing plans and campaigns.
- Monitor distribution performance to ensure compliance with business targets.
- Manage POSM, merchandising, and in-store execution across all brands and categories.
- Coordinate pricing and promotional tracking across multiple sales channels.
- Drive and monitor brand visibility initiatives, including flagship stores.
2. Support Category & Channel Planning
- Analyze sales performance and provide insights to support business growth.
- Conduct category and channel reviews, recommending strategies to improve performance.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop trade activity calendars and optimize product availability, pricing, promotions, and in-store execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Trade Marketing or Category Management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical mindset with commercial acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical ability with solid business understanding.
- Willing to be placed at our HQ Office in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
