Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Treasury Executive at PGEO Group Sdn Bhd (A Member of Wilmar Group of Companies) located in Pasir Gudang.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in treasury or finance are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of cash management and banking transactions is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of basic formulas and functions.
- Detail-oriented and able to work accurately with financial data and transactions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn and able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Responsible, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily treasury and cash management activities, including payment processing and banking transactions.
- Prepare and process bank payments, fund transfers and other treasury transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for business operations.
- Perform bank reconciliation and follow up on outstanding or unmatched transactions.
- Assist in preparing cash flow reports, bank schedules and other treasury reports for management review.
- Maintain proper records of bank transactions, payment documents and treasury-related information.
- Liaise with banks and internal departments on payment and banking matters.
- Assist in monitoring bank charges and foreign exchange transactions, where applicable.
- Support month-end closing and other finance and accounting activities as required.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure all treasury activities are carried out accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
