Job Description
HIRING: WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER
Location: Sendayan TechValley, Seremban
Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,000
MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is hiring on behalf of an established global manufacturer specialising in high-purity electronic materials for the semiconductor and related technology industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and delivery.
- Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and full inventory audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Ensure materials and finished goods are properly arranged and stored according to FIFO requirements.
- Maintain and update warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.
- Review warehouse workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure warehouse space is used safely and efficiently.
- Plan work schedules, assign duties and monitor the performance of warehouse employees.
- Train and guide warehouse personnel to improve productivity and compliance.
- Coordinate daily order preparation and shipment activities to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate with transporters and resolve shipment or delivery issues.
- Review monthly shipping costs and submit accurate supporting information to the Finance Department.
- Ensure forklifts, tools, equipment and warehouse facilities remain in proper working condition.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety, 5S and company procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or a related field.
- Approximately 4–6 years of warehouse experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supervising or managing warehouse employees.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock auditing, FIFO and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to coordinate with internal departments, transporters and external service providers.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communication with overseas headquarters.
