Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow consultants and support team members in advisory and assurance engagements, where we:
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessment to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within client's operating environment
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and action plans in collaboration with clients to reduce risk exposure
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of existing governance, risk and control systems, policies, procedures, practices
  • Advise clients on improving and strengthening their governance, risk and control systems to safeguard assets, enhance operational efficiency and manage risk.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation, providing recommendations to enhance control systems
  • Utilise data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns, anomalies and emerging risks in client data
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor solutions to meet their needs
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders, summarising findings and recommendations.
  • Manage multiple engagements, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging risks to provide informed guidance to clients
  • Cultivate strong client relationships by demonstrating expertise, reliability and commitment to delivering value
  • Adhere to the ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all client interactions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Law, Sustainability, Commerce, Economics or a related field. Master degrees and professional certifications (e.g CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA) will have added advantage.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English as well as possess excellent communication, report writing and computer skills.
  • Proactive, good problem-solving ability, resourceful, innovative and have an eye for detail.
  • Team player who is also able to work well independently and under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Able to travel outstation or overseas, encouraged to possess own transport
