This role will join a small, cohesive ASEAN Growth Equities team. The candidate must demonstrate a strong fit with the organisation and establish a clear ASEAN growth equities investment philosophy and process working together closely with other growth teams to leverage a common research platform.
Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
- Support management of Singapore and ASEAN equity portfolios, contributing to portfolio construction, stock selection, risk management and performance delivery.
- Conduct fundamental research on listed companies, including financial modelling, valuation analysis and investment recommendation.
- Identify and develop investment ideas through company meetings, industry research, channel checks and thematic analysis.
- Monitor portfolio holdings and investment watchlists, providing timely updates on earnings, corporate developments and market events.
- Engage regularly with company management teams, brokers, industry experts and other market participants.
- Support client meetings, investment presentations, market commentary and media engagements.
- Collaborate closely with regional investment teams to share insights, leverage research resources and develop cross-market investment ideas.
- Mentor and develop junior investment professionals, fostering analytical rigor and adherence to the team's investment process.
- Contribute actively to investment discussions, investment committee reviews and the continuous enhancement of the team's research and investment process.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in managing Singapore/ASEAN funds is preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong work ethic and drive for excellence.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and valuation modelling.
- Ability to interpret macroeconomic trends and sector dynamics for market research.
- Skilled in Bloomberg and Excel (including advanced functions).
- Expertise in creating impactful reports and presentations using PowerPoint and data visualisation tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements and investment guidelines.
- Exposure to ESG analysis and data-driven research techniques (AI/quant tools) is a plus.
- Collaborative team player, receptive to feedback and able to provide constructive input.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking new investment ideas and opportunities.
