Associate Director/ Director, Equity Capital Markets

Job Responsibilities:

To support the Regional and Malaysia Head of Equity Capital Markets with the Bank's overall objective, strategy and budget as adopted at the Board and Senior Management Meetings

To co-lead the team with the Regional and Malaysia Head of Department in originating, managing and executing IPO, placement, underwriting and convertible bond transactions advised by Maybank IB and /or other investment banks

Build and maintain relationships with clients, institutional investors and regulators

To expand the bank's business into the secondary market placement of equity and equity-linked

To source for other underwriting opportunities in the market with the objective of broadening the fee income of the Bank in link with the Bank's overall objective and financial budget

Ensuring successful execution of ECM transactions

Successful origination of ECM mandates

Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any related field.

Understanding of financial markets and needs of corporates and investors

Financial analysis and valuations

Relationship building, leadership and management skills
