We are looking for an Associate Engineer to support fibre planning, pipeline coordination, and implementation activities across new developments and fibre-based services. The role involves network design, contractor coordination, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of pipeline and fibre works.
Make An Impact By
- Perform Single-Line Diagram (SLD) preparation from GIS 2.0 based on project requirements
- Plan pipeline connections and fibre deployments for new developments
- Coordinate with developers, M&E consultants, and internal teams for planning, inspection, and implementation works
- Review COPIF plan submissions and manage activities from pipeline connection to equipment commissioning
- Perform fibre planning and network design to support corporate data services and engineering circuits
- Supervise contractors on pipeline and fibre works, ensuring compliance with procedures, timelines, and safety standards
- Manage and resolve site, pipeline, and fibre implementation issues
- Ensure timely closure of pipeline and fibre schemes, including system updates, reports, and DFF claim processing
- Any other duties assigned by the superior
Skill For Success
- Minimum diploma holder in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent course
- Experience in fibre planning, pipeline works, or network implementation is preferred
- Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve telecommunication network issues
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage site and implementation issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills with flexibility to work as a team
- Proactive & have great sense of urgency
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment & work well under pressure
- Computer literacy in MS Office, MSC Excel and Power Point
- Flexible to changes in work schedule
