Project Manager - Insurance Claims

Years of Experience: 8-10 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the insurance industry, specifically in claims management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project goals are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and a deep understanding of insurance claims processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple insurance claims projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims processing, and IT, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status and performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on insurance claims.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with insurance industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with claims processing systems and tools.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of project management experience, with a focus on insurance claims.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
