Job Type: Contract Position

Contract duration: 6- 12 months (Extendable Contract)

Competencies and Skills

•• University degree bachelor's degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent.

• Certification in CMMI and PMP

• 2 years in banking / financial services industry.

• 3 years in managing and delivering large regional project (> RM1 Mil).

• 5 years in software development life cycle and processes.

• 10 - 12 years in Project Management.

Job Specification

•• Technical/Functional skills

• Leverages regulatory, political and business contacts to shape/influence the business and regulatory environment in key markets/industries

• Thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of own professional discipline. Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools.

• Strong and tested project management skills, including sponsor and risk management.

• Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership])

• Strong presentation and influencing skills, required in guiding and assisting teams in putting forward proposals for clients, whenever necessary

• Good reputation and business network

• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Recognizes problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent. Evaluates alternatives and finds solutions using a systematic, multi-step

• approach.

• Communication: Effectiveness Conveys goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; interprets verbal and non-verbal messages that others communicate.

• Decision Making: Understands how and when to make a choice; how and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Analyzes the risks and future impact of decisions.
