Job Description

Purpose of Job

We are looking for talent who manages the support of day-to-day Trade Credits products services. As a Trade Credits Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process billings, recovering outstanding payments from clients and allocate receipts to the right party, in accordance with the policy and guidelines.
  • Review client policies, documentation, and marketing presentation, analyse and identify scope of cover required and check adequacy of existing cover.
  • Follow up with insurers on policy documents, notify insurer of any discrepancies, and amendment.
  • Respond to incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties.
  • Assist in renewal process, preparation of submission and the gathering of information.
  • Process of slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements duties.
  • Assist in preparation of reports
  • Provide administrative support and collections updates to insurer and client.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your supervisor.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill

  • Minimum 1 year's working experience in similar or related field, in sales, business development, banking, etc.
  • Possess professional insurance qualification and relevant knowledge of the principles of Insurance, product knowledge and practices
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in actuarial science, economics, finance, insurance, business management or related disciplines
  • Passion and drive, capacity to work independently
  • Team player and respect for authority in the workplace
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and written in English. Preferably able to communicate in Chinese dialects such as Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Hokkien.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
