ATCM - Automation Tester Consultant

Responsibilities

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will:

• Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous, efficient, and end-to-end quality engineering function.

• Apply quality processes, tools, and methodologies to improve control, accuracy, and integrity in testing.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in automation testing.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to ensure effective team performance.

• Make key team and project-level decisions, influencing multiple teams across the project.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing objectives and deliverables are aligned.

• Analyze testing results, deliver actionable insights, and continuously improve product quality.

• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to optimize testing efficiency.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Expert proficiency in Automated Testing for both Web and API automation.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as:

  • Playwright / Cypress / Selenium (or equivalent).

  • K6 / JMeter (or equivalent for performance testing).

• Strong background in:

  • Engineering best practices and coding standards.

  • Designing test scenarios, test cases, and testing approaches.

  • Developing testing strategies that improve QA processes.

Key Capabilities

• Proven ability to mentor and guide team members in automated testing and quality engineering.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions.

• Effective communicator, capable of managing stakeholders and multiple teams.

• Demonstrated adaptability in integrating new testing tools, methodologies, and processes.
