ATE PCB Design Engineer
Job Summary
Join us as an ATE PCB Design Engineer, where you will lead the design, simulation, and qualification of intricate multi-layer PCBs tailored for automated test equipment (ATE). Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-layer PCB layouts tailored for automated test equipment (ATE).
- To design test schematics and ensure adherence to layout requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—ATE test engineers, mechanical design engineers, validation groups, and customers to align on design requirements and mechanical/electrical specifications.
- Perform layout simulations and verification, considering signal/power integrity and high-speed constraints.
- Work with the customer to qualify test solutions into high volume manufacturing
- Able to apply best practices to ensure good design performance and product quality
- To write application notes or white papers about new or useful design methodology and discovery
- Meeting department KPI
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year hands on PCB design experience
- Well versed with electronics circuit design, schematic, PCB layout, fabrication and assembly process.
- Experience with Altium, OrCAD or equivalent PCB design tools will be an added advantage
- A mature team player and able to work independently.
- Written & Verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English
