Job Description & Summary
A career in External Audit services offers the opportunity to deliver a wide range of assurance services, including listed and non listed Audit Assurance Services, IPO engagements and business advisory to a diverse portfolio of clientsfrom fast-growing startups to large, established entities. Many of our clients are well-known brands, providing exposure to dynamic and high-profile business environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of Audit and Assurance Associates and Seniors.
- Review the work of subordinates to ensure timely completion of audits assignment.
- Execute complex audit procedures and lead full teams or sub-teams, depending on the engagement size.
- Liaise with team and clients to address and resolve audit-related issues.
- Review financial reports and identify potential risks or areas of concern.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in statutory and regulatory audits, with 1-2 years of supervisory role
- Degree in Accounting with ACCA/CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
- MFRS and IFRS and knowledge and experience is preferable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage projects
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging workloads
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently & possess high integrity.
- Will be required to travel on assignment to other locations in Malaysia and other countries as required.
