Job Responsibility:
People Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor audit team members to ensure high-quality work delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Build a collaborative, supportive, and high-performance team culture.
Audit & Assurance
- Plan, manage, and complete audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards.
- Oversee complex audit assignments, including group audits and cross-border engagements.
- Review audit working papers and reports to ensure key risks and issues are properly addressed.
Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Provide value-added recommendations to improve clients processes and internal controls.
- Prepare management letters and clearly communicate audit findings to stakeholders.
Quality, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure audit engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies, professional requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Promote continuous improvement in audit methodologies, processes, and compliance culture.
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment.
- Preferably a member of MIA, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills, with good commercial awareness.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Solid technical knowledge of MFRS/MPERS and auditing standards.
- Proactive, self-motivated, with a growth mindset and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team and client collaboration.
- Demonstrated leadership, client management, and problem-solving skills.
