Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operation and maintenance of ELV and automation systems to ensure stable and reliable plant performance
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize Siemens PLC systems (S7-1200 / S7-200 SMART) during plant operations
- Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instruments (temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, differential pressure)
- Maintain and support Access Control Systems (controllers, readers, electric locks, communication issues)
- Execute small-scale ELV works such as point additions, minor modifications, cabling, and system adjustments
- Support new factory/building projects including system review, site coordination, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning
- Collaborate with Electrical, BA/BMS, IT teams, vendors, and contractors
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (I/O lists, wiring diagrams, commissioning records, maintenance logs)
- Provide on-site technical support and carry out tasks assigned by Engineering/Facilities Manager
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and participate in required programs and training
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, ELV, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in plant operations & maintenance with some project exposure
- Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (logic understanding, online monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Familiar with industrial instrumentation (installation, calibration, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience with Access Control Systems
- Basic knowledge of structured cabling (Cat5e / Cat6, fiber optic – LC / SC)
- Strong hands-on and problem-solving skills, able to work independently
- Good command of English (spoken & written) for technical communication and documentation
- Proactive, responsible, and adaptable to both operational and project environments
