Job Description

We are currently hiring Automation Engineer in Project and Maintenance. Details as below:

Automation Engineer - Project: Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site automation system deployments.
  • Track project schedules and clearly communicate project status with internal stakeholders to align on milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct FAT with suppliers to verify functional performance and compliance with specifications prior to shipment.
  • Review engineering documentation to ensure accuracy of mechanical, electrical, and control deliverables.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and system integrators to ensure smooth installation and integration of machines.
  • Verify handover deliverables, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and supporting documentation.
  • Carry out acceptance-level inspections with suppliers to ensure all deliverables are complete.
  • Monitor machine performance (reliability, output, safety) and write reports from deployment through go-live.
  • Conduct SAT with suppliers to verify system integrity, on-site performance, and compliance with project scope after installation.
  • Support customer line qualification by preparing performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all project activities.

Automation Engineer - Project: Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or project management field.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, robot programming, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Willingness to learn programming and configuration of UR and Fanuc robots, and Keyence and Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Strong project management skills, able to design schedules and track progress using Microsoft tools.
  • Critical thinker, capable of reviewing quotations, scope of work, engineering documentation, and operational manuals.
  • Good communication skills, able to coordinate with OEMs and system integrators.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills; proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and takes ownership of assigned projects.
  • Comfortable with on-site work and travel as required for project deployments.

Automation Engineer - Maintenance: Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot intermittent control system faults to minimize production downtime.
  • Diagnose PLC-level issues and implement corrective actions to support continuous production.
  • Perform system-level changes across PLCs, robotic programs, safety logic, and firmware to support reliable manufacturing operations.
  • Fine-tune and optimize mechanical and system components to enhance equipment efficiency.
  • Carry out curative maintenance activities, including mechanical and electronic replacements, to restore machine operation following major failures.
  • Collaborate with automation project engineers during the deployment and validation of new automation systems.
  • Monitor machine performance based on reliability, quality output, and motion consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Document daily activities, including equipment operation instructions, maintenance SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including maintenance procedures, training manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Automation Engineer - Maintenance: Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation environments.
  • Advanced programming of Keyence and Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Advanced programming and configuration of FANUC and UR robots.
  • Proven experience modifying PLC and robot safety systems.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of intermittent and system-level faults.
  • Experience performing PLC and robot system recovery after crashes.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networks, including Profinet, Ethernet/IP, CC-Link, and TCP/IP.
  • Good communication skills, able to coordinate with OEMs and system integrators.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills; proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
  • Comfortable in electronics assembly and manufacturing environment.
