Job Description
Build the machines that build the future.
We design and build custom automation machines, and we're hiring 20+ Mechanical Design Engineers who love making machines move. If you've designed pick-and-place units, indexing tables, conveyors, robotic cells or any automated equipment, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Design automation systems and conveyor equipment in 3D CAD, from concept to detailed design
- Check that every design meets its requirements through reviews and simulation
- Prepare fabrication drawings with GD&T, Bills of Materials (BOM) and assembly documentation
- Find design weaknesses and put corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in place to make machines more reliable
- Work directly with customers to review requirements and give technical updates
- Support assembly and testing on-site, troubleshooting design-related issues
- Choose materials and components with safety, ergonomics and cost in mind
Who we're looking for
Mechanical Design Engineer I
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
- 0–2 years in automation, machine building or manufacturing equipment.
- Fresh graduates: show us an automation project (FYP, competition, robotics club, internship) with mechanisms, sensors or actuators.
Mechanical Design Engineer II
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 3+ years designing custom automation machines (not only parts, moulds or structures)
- Hands-on with automation mechanisms such as pick-and-place, indexing, feeders, grippers and conveyors
- Track record of taking machines from concept to build-off, buy-off and commissioning
Skills that help
- SolidWorks, Inventor or AutoCAD
- Machine design, mechanisms and conveyor systems
- GD&T and practical tolerance allocation that balances performance and cost
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, motor sizing, sensors, actuators and motion control (servo/stepper)
- Clear communication with production teams and customers
- A hands-on, problem-solving attitude, with flexibility during critical project phases
- Selecting pneumatic cylinders, linear guides, ball screws, servo/stepper motors and sensors using sizing calculations, not guesswork
- Understanding cycle time, motion sequence and how mechanical design works with PLC/controls engineers
Why join us
- Work on custom, high-precision automation projects,
- Clear growth path from Engineer I to Engineer II and beyond
- Learn from experienced engineers through peer design reviews
