Automation Tester/ Test Lead

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Software Tester (validation, testing, and release functions).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in software product test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Strong understanding and practical experience in agile testing methodologies and principles.

Core Competency Requirements:

1. Strong expertise in creating and executing testing plans.
2. Proficient in writing test plans and test cases.
3. Comprehensive understanding of web application testing principles and methods.
4. Expertise in automation testing and automation frameworks.
5. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Tricentis and Testinium, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites.
6. Proven ability to automate tests, including building automation frameworks from scratch.
7. Experience working with DevOps for CI/CD integration, test automation, and reporting.
8. Demonstrated ability to execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retest, and E2E testing for applications under test.
9. Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills to identify and isolate defects.
10. Experience working in agile environments with a focus on collaborative development.
11. Hands-on experience with tools and areas such as Mantis, JIRA, web browser testing, mobile browser and application testing, and reporting application testing.
12. Passionate about delivering a great user experience.
13. Knowledge of the healthcare domain is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute software testing cycles.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective test strategies.
• Automate test processes and frameworks to ensure application quality and performance.
• Utilize tools such as Tricentis and Testinium for automation testing.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and resolve defects, ensuring efficient communication across teams.
• Execute and monitor various testing phases, including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retesting, and E2E testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes, ensuring high-quality software releases.
