Qualification and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Software Tester (validation, testing, and release functions).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in software product test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in agile testing methodologies and principles.
Core Competency Requirements:
- Strong expertise in creating and executing testing plans.
- Proficient in writing test plans and test cases.
- Comprehensive understanding of web application testing principles and methods.
- Expertise in automation testing and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Tricentis and Testinium, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites.
- Proven ability to automate tests, including building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience working with DevOps for CI/CD integration, test automation, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retest, and E2E testing for applications under test.
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills to identify and isolate defects.
- Experience working in agile environments with a focus on collaborative development.
- Hands-on experience with tools and areas such as Mantis, JIRA, web browser testing, mobile browser and application testing, and reporting application testing.
- Passionate about delivering a great user experience.
- Knowledge of the healthcare domain is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute software testing cycles.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective test strategies.
- Automate test processes and frameworks to ensure application quality and performance.
- Utilize tools such as Tricentis and Testinium for automation testing.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and resolve defects, ensuring efficient communication across teams.
- Execute and monitor various testing phases, including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retesting, and E2E testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes, ensuring high-quality software releases.
