Role Description The Automotive Live Host role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shah Alam. Day-to-day responsibilities include hosting live-stream sessions to promote automotive parts, demonstrating product features, and answering customer questions in real time. The live host prepares scripts and talking points, coordinates product displays, and works with the marketing and e-commerce teams to plan live content calendars. The role involves monitoring viewer engagement, collecting feedback, and suggesting content improvements to increase reach and sales. The live host also assists with basic content creation for social media, helps manage live session logistics, and maintains a professional, brand-aligned presence on camera.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities, with confidence hosting live-streams and engaging diverse online audiences.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology, or a strong interest in the automotive industry with willingness to learn.
• Effective communication skills in spoken and written languages relevant to the target audience (e.g., English, Malay).
• Familiarity with social media platforms, live-stream tools, and e-commerce environments.
• Ability to plan and organize live content, follow scripts or outlines, and adapt dynamically during live sessions.
• Comfort working on-site in Shah Alam, collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with good interpersonal skills, patience, and professionalism under pressure.
• Previous experience in hosting, sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage; background in automotive retail or service is a plus.
