- Guide architecture decisions for scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems, focusing on microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Lead the modernization of legacy financial systems into modern, API-driven platforms.
- Collaborate with C-level executives and product owners to ensure technical initiatives align with broader business goals.
- Oversee engineering for complex financial journeys, including investment advisory, portfolio rebalancing, equities, and structured products.
- Manage and mentor multiple cross-functional squads (typically 5-10 people each), fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
- Ensure all solutions meet stringent banking regulations (e.g., BNM/RMIT), security protocols, and internal audit standards.
- Drive RFP processes and manage external technology partners to ensure they meet the organization's technical standards.
