JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Evaluate business requirements and develop solution options ensuring alignment to business requirements, business processes and best practices for effective software development.
  • Evaluate and help to finalize the solution option for implementation while considering time, cost, quality and performance criteria.
  • Develop functional architecture and design specifications by carrying out Impacts Analysis of all designs affecting IT systems and interfaces.
  • Designing E2E solution involving multiple systems including digital touchpoints, CRM, billing, ordering and other backend systems such as workforce management, inventory systems.
  • Coordinate with other platform's Solution Architects & Product Owners to ensure end-to-end design coverage across the Enterprise systems, owning the requirements to deployment life cycle.
  • Evaluate and challenge the solution design proposed by vendor/internal teams to ensure that it is as per best practices of cloud, integration (e.g. REST API standard) and comply related PII/PCI/Security protocols.
  • Ensure that all new development and / or enhancements to existing IT system do not cause degradation to system SLA & OLA.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
  • Proactively leads, guides, influences for providing feedback and technical guidance to project teams on issues of critical importance for achieving the best solution(s) to meet the business objectives.
  • Assist senior business and IT management in determining the direction of current and future developments in areas of expertise.
  • May perform estimations, effort negotiations for project solutions with vendor and internal stakeholders.
  • May assist Service Delivery professionals during ideation of business strategy solution discussions.
  • May assist team leadership as a team lead for the assignment of project work and review of design quality.
  • Experience and understanding of best practices for requirements management, high level application design, release management, testing, technical documentation and managing small development efforts.
  • Strong data modeling and data analysis and reporting experience is an advantage.
  • Full AGILE & software development life cycle (SDLC) experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 7 years of IT experience (recent hands-on) with BSS CRM and Billing systems or equivalent
    experience for mass media and broadcasting industry.
  • good domain knowledge and functional understanding of OSS/BSS applications like CRM, Billing,
    Ordering, Collections/Dunning, Supply Chain, Inventory & Fulfillment applications. Expertise in Product
    catalogue is required.
  • Experience in designing solutions E2E solution involving multiple systems including digital touchpoints, CRM, billing, ordering and other backend systems.
  • Strong expertise in Cloud based technology and architecture. Having relevant certifications is desired.
  • Planning and prioritizing projects or improvement backlogs based on business focus area and priority.
  • Familiar with AWS cloud computing services (e.g. Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway, ELB, EC2 etc.)
  • Well versed with relational (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, ElasticSearch) and stored procedures
  • Familiar with Infrastructure and app security (e.g. JWT token), Integration testing, Bitbucket Pipeline or any other Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) platform (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation template)
  • Knolwedge of below or any similar technical framework and tools:
    • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
    • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP - including architecture best practices.
    • Integration Patterns: API design, microservices, ESB, event-driven architecture.
    • Security & Compliance: Identity management, encryption, regulatory standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS).
    • Application Design: Knowledge of SOA, distributed systems, and scalability principles.
