The role

AWS Business Development Director (Individual Contributor), you'll play a pivotal role in helping customers realize value from AWS solutions by aligning their business needs with our expertise. You will lead AWS business growth in Malaysia, driving new opportunities and supporting customers on their cloud journey. This is a strategic sales role focused on hunting new business, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that accelerate time-to-value.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive AWS business growth in Malaysia through proactive opportunity hunting and collaboration with Field Sales.
- Manage the full sales cyclefrom initial engagement to contract closurefor new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, ensuring alignment with account strategies.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects and Practice Leaders to design solutions that meet customer needs.
- Construct service contracts and commercials based on scope and desired outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Full-time work rights in Malaysia and ability to commute to our clients office and visit clients.
- Strong ability to articulate AWS cloud transformation use cases tailored to industry and customer maturity.
- Experience engaging stakeholders from IT teams to C-level executives, building transformation roadmaps.
- Expertise in positioning AWS cloud services, digital workplace solutions, and adoption/change management.
- Proven track record in enterprise technology strategic sales or pre-sales, with focus on cloud and digital transformation (AWS experience essential; Azure is a plus).
- Solid understanding of public cloud market trends, cloud economics, and technologies like application modernization, data analytics, and containerization.
- Skilled in enterprise solution selling, proposal development, negotiation, and closing large cloud engagements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing executive decision-makers.
