We are looking for a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to design,
implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services. The role involves working
with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud
solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with leading cloud platforms
and a strong foundation in cloud migrations, automation, networking, and artificial
intelligence practices.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Operations
* Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud-based infrastructure and applications
* Implement and maintain networking, storage, compute, and security services for AWS
* Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of cloud environments.
* Automate provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using infrastructure-ascode
tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Security & Compliance
* Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
* Monitor cloud environments for compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
* Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk mitigation.
Support & Troubleshooting
* Provide operational support for cloud environments, troubleshooting issues,
and ensuring timely resolution.
* Optimize cloud costs by monitoring usage and recommending improvements.
* Collaborate with regional teams and partner technical resources to support
cloud application deployments.
Continuous Improvement
* Evaluate and adopt new cloud services, tools, and technologies.
* Continuous skill development to achieve various cloud certification
Qualifications
* Possess a minimum Diploma and Post-graduate Degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 25 years of experience in cloud engineering, system administration, or
related IT roles.
* Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure,
GCP).
* Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, virtualization, and storage.
* Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools.
* Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
* Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) preferred.
