We are looking for a hands-on Technical Engineer/System Engineer who wants to build, automate, and own cloud infrastructure rather than just keeping the lights on. In this role, you won't be stuck maintaining a single legacy system; you will drive the technical execution for a diverse portfolio of mid-sized clients. Operating within a managed services environment, you will have the autonomy to evaluate Azure and AWS solutions, automate deployment strategies, and directly influence how businesses operate in the cloud.

The Mission

• Cloud Solutioning: Evaluate and propose modern cloud service offerings that genuinely solve problems for mid-sized clients.

• Deployment Execution: Take complete hands-on ownership of Azure or AWS projects, from whiteboard design to successful post-go-live support.

• Process Automation: Design, simplify, and automate implementation workflows to replace manual tasks with high-quality, repeatable deployments.

• Delivery Support: Support the wider service delivery team in managing complex cloud deployments and actively participate in technical training to maintain high team competency.

• Client Advisory: Partner with client service teams to make practical, risk-aware technical decisions that balance best practices with business realities.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure every infrastructure solution you deploy inherently addresses IT compliance, governance, and strict security standards.

How You'll Succeed

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting complex IT infrastructure for mid-sized organizations.

• Deep, practical expertise in Azure or AWS cloud environments, alongside strong networking and Microsoft 365 foundations.

• A proven background in a service-based industry or MSP where you successfully managed multiple client environments simultaneously.

• The ability to operate highly independently, prioritize effectively under tight deadlines, and solve problems without needing hand-holding.

• Strong analytical skills to assess technical risks and make smart, business-focused engineering decisions.

• Excellent communication skills to translate complex cloud architecture concepts into clear strategies for both clients and internal teams.
