Backend Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data & AI application team to develop, enhance, and maintain backend services for data and AI applications.
• Design and build data processing pipelines to support data modelling, analytics, and reporting needs.
• Develop and optimize backend systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data and AI capabilities into application services.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical/engineering field.

At least 1 year of experience in backend development, data application development, or data processing systems.

Proficiency in Python (preferred), or other programming languages such as Golang, Java, or C++, with familiarity in relevant frameworks (e.g., Flask, Gin).

Experience working with SQL and relational databases.

Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese in a working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Practical experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI-related projects.

Familiarity with building data pipelines, data platforms, or AI-enabled backend services.
