Bilingual Interpreter (Cantonese & English)

I-Call International is looking to hire Cantonese interpreters to work remotely. As a Cantonese consecutive medical interpreter, your primary responsibility is to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients who speak Cantonese.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpretation: Accurately interpreting medical terminology, treatments, and other information between Cantonese-speaking patients and healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and other medical staff.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Cantonese and English
• Experience in interpretation or translation is a plus
• Good communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work well under pressure

Technical Requirements

• Internet: Minimum 15 Mbps download and upload speed
• Computer: Core i7, 6th gen or higher with a minimum of 8GB RAM
• Headset: USB Wired Headset required (Logitech H390 or equivalent with noise cancellation)
• Connection: LAN (Ethernet) cable connection
• Latency: ≤ 100 ms
• Video: HD Webcam
• Environment: Professional working space

Shift & Compensation

• Timings: Hourly shift program
• Pay Rate: $10 USD per hour
