Scope of Position

Haskell is seeking BIM Designers to join our Haskell Malaysia Office. This position entails the production of construction documents for government, commercial, and institutional projects. Solid, sustainable design practices are inherent in every project designed by the company. Revit and AutoCAD are the primary BIM/CAD tools used to leverage those practices for the benefit of our clients.

This role requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for modelling, documentation, and drawing coordination, along with a strong understanding of software interoperability across disciplines. Familiarity with Navisworks for model review and coordination, professional PDF collaboration tools such as Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office will be considered an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Revit Modeling for Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines
  • Working under the direction of a BIM Manager
  • Perform project design and design support functions
  • Ensure the accuracy and completion of construction documents based on discipline.
  • Translates redline drawings into Revit model and provides modeling support to the project team.
  • Support the monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance of the discipline model.
  • Assist the project team with the collaboration and coordination of other disciplines designs.
  • Adheres to firm (or client) technical and graphic standards.
  • Participate in discipline reviews.
  • Organize and prepare one's own discipline model and/or content for Interdisciplinary
  • Coordination Meetings.
  • Competent and professional communication and writing skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and able to work independently.

Education / Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in architectural or engineering design environments. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products, particularly Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with design industry workflows, production cycles, and project delivery priorities.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and construction documentation accurately.
  • Computer-literate with strong technical aptitude for design and documentation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established standards, maintain accuracy, and complete tasks within required timelines.
