BIM Integration Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1) Develop and maintain accurate, information-rich models, technical drawings and project deliverables in accordance with project requirements, BIM standards and timelines.

2) Use appropriate digital, automation and AI-assisted tools to streamline repetitive modelling, documentation and checking tasks, with professional review of all outputs.

3) Carry out model reviews, data checks and quality-control activities to improve the accuracy, consistency and reliability of BIM deliverables.

4) Maintain organized and up-to-date models, drawing records, registers and related project documentation.

5) Prepare coordinated design drawings and supporting documentation for authority and project submissions.

6) Integrate BIM information across civil, structural and other relevant disciplines, working with design and engineering teams to identify and resolve coordination issues.

7) Support the development and implementation of BIM libraries, templates, standards and integrated digital workflows.

8) Participate in technical and coordination meetings, clearly communicating model issues, proposed solutions and follow-up actions to project stakeholders.

9) Work closely with the Design Engineer, BIM Engineer and BIM Manager to strengthen BIM integration, support digital initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Required Competencies

1) Interest in BIM integration, process automation, AI-assisted workflows and emerging digital-engineering technologies.

2) A proactive, collaborative and improvement-focused mindset, with a willingness to test practical solutions, share knowledge and develop new capabilities.

3) At least four years of BIM experience within a civil and structural engineering consultancy or a comparable project environment.

4) Good understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination, drawing production, model information management and authority submission requirements.

5) Ability to work independently on modelling tasks while coordinating effectively with Engineers, BIM team members and other project stakeholders.

6) Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to model quality, accuracy and document control.

7) Sound engineering knowledge and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and coordination matters clearly.

8) Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification, with relevant BIM modelling and coordination experience.
