BIM MODELLER/ COORDINATOR - DATA CENTER (JOHOR)

About the Role

The role involves developing high-quality 3D BIM models, performing clash detection, generating documentation, ensuring standards compliance, coordinating with project stakeholders, and managing project data within a Common Data Environment (CDE).

Key Responsibilities

Model Authoring

• Develop high-quality 3D models for Architectural/ Structural, or MEP disciplines (depending on your specialty) using Revit.

Clash Detection

• Perform regular clash detection and interference checks using Navisworks; collaborate with engineers to resolve design conflicts.

Documentation

• Generate accurate shop drawings, sections, and schedules directly from the BIM model.

Standards Compliance

• Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and international Data Center standards.

Coordination

• Participate in technical coordination meetings to present 3D visualizations and provide data-driven solutions.

Data Management

• Maintain and update the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure the latest information is accessible to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), or a specialized BIM certification.

Required Skills

Technical Proficiency

• Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks are mandatory. Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly preferred.

Industry Experience

• Minimum of 2–4 years of BIM experience. Prior experience with Data Centers, Cleanrooms, or Industrial plants is a significant advantage.

Detail-Oriented

• A strong understanding of Level of Development (LOD) 300-400 requirements.

• Based or willing to relocate to Johor
