Blueprism RPA Developer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Blue Prism RPA Developer/Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that drive operational efficiency and business transformation. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Blue Prism development, process automation, workflow optimization, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and resilient automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using Blue Prism.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Process Owners, and Solution Architects to understand business requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions.
• Create and maintain Process Definition Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and technical documentation.
• Develop reusable Blue Prism objects, processes, and components following established development standards.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
• Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Optimize existing automations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate Blue Prism solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, web services, and legacy systems.
• Support automation governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the RPA practice.
• Work closely with infrastructure and support teams to ensure platform stability and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

For Blue Prism RPA Developer (3-8 Years)

• 3-8 years of IT application development experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on Blue Prism development experience.
• Strong understanding of RPA concepts, lifecycle, and implementation methodologies.
• Experience developing Blue Prism Processes, Business Objects, and Control Room operations.
• Knowledge of:
• Exception handling
• Queues
• Work objects
• Environment variables
• Scheduling and monitoring
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
